Sultan Kirigah TUNAPANDA GRADUATE & MOBILE APP DEVELOPER

I joined Tunapanda in 2020, but we had to attend a Boot camp in November due to COVID-19, which lasted for a month. During this period, my interest in design and programming blossomed. HTML and CSS inititally piqued my curiosity, leading me to devlelop a passion for programming. Upon a friend's recommendation, I enrolled in Moringa to enhance my programming skills. During my time there, I delved into mobile app development and learned Javascript. Subsequently, I applied for various positions and secured a role at Ork Wood Branding Company in Kilimani, focusing on app development. I later applied to STEM CAFE, a program that educates children aged five to eighteen. I find joy in my work there as it allows me to give back. While challenges may rise, perseverance is key to achieving your goals over time.

Salome Ratemo TUNAPANDA GRADUATE & STEM FACILITATOR

Tunapanda was a pivotal part of my journey into tech. After completing the program, I continued growing my skills by taking online courses and applying what I learned through hands-on projects. Setting clear learning goals helped me stay focused, and engaging with online communities kept me motivated. Today, I'm a second-year data science student, diving deep into analytics and machine learning. Alongside my studies, I work as a STEM facilitator at Code with Kids, where I teach coding and tech skills to young learners. For anyone considering the Tunapanda program, I say take the leap! the courses are diverse and offer a chance to explore differnet paths. You'll gain practical skills that set you apart and help guide you toward your career goals. It's an incredible opportunity to invest in yourself, grow, and unlock your full potential.

Pauline Chiemah TUNAPANDA GRADUATE & VISUAL DESIGNER

After graduating from Tunapanda's Mobile LEAP program. I specialized in User Interface and User Experience (UI/UX) design at NairoBits Trust, whrere I learned Adobe XD and Figma. Currently, I'm a design intern at Redberry Kenya while also taking an online course in software development through the Power Learn Project. This year, I'll be submitting my final project, which focuses on database design and development (SQL), web development (Node.js, Express, and Django), and mobile app development (DArt with Flutter). The Mobile LEAP program was the perfect launched for my career in tech, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking to enter the field.

Sebit Kafe TUNAPANDA GRADUATE & OPERATIONS MANAGER

Before joining Tunapanda, I wasn't a confident speaker and struggled to present myself professionally. The experience at Tunapanda Institute was a game changer for me. I gained professional skills in public speaking, communication and teamwork through project-based learning, where we collaborated on projects and solved problems together. I learned how to pitch ideas and present myself with confidence, which is helping me in my current role as an Operations Manager at Kitchens For You. Tunapanda also introduced me to basic programming, which sparked my interest in software development -a field I'm now pursuing. Tunapanda truly inspired me to achieve something great
